We are seeking a self-motivated, experienced workshop technician who would like to join an aspiring team in Germany. The ideal candidate will have have experience with BHA equipment and be able to communicate effectively in both English and German.
Qualifications/Experience:
· You must be able to perform each of the specific responsibilities satisfactorily.
· To be able to communicate effectively in both English and German
· Similar employment in workshop/yard environment (prefer oil & gas).
· Driving licence (preferred)
· Proven track record of working with similar tools
· Must hold current Germany work eligibility status
· International travel is possible in this role.
Main responsibilities/Key tasks:
· Preparation of BHA tools including looking out for upcoming jobs. cleaning and identify repairs on returned tools.
· Identify and communicate with supervisor, colleagues, client representatives and inspectors proper operating procedures.
· Operate forklifts to load and unload tools required. Ensuring that all equipment is safe and secure for purpose.
· Use of pressure washer to prepare tools for upcoming projects.
· Work with the operations team to provide exceptional customer services and address customer concerns.
· Ensure that safe work practices are employed in the performance of daily activities. Address and if necessary, report any observations.
· Pre job checks, maintenance and preparation has been completed correctly providing feedback to the operations team of any issues.
· Contribute to the development and continual improvement of best practices, processes, and systems currently in place.
· Collaborate with key team members to ensure the clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company.
Individual Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental Responsibilities:
· Understand the application of the Health and Safety at Work, etc. Act 1974 and other legislation relevant to your role
· Attend courses/seminars run by external sources where required
· Ensure familiarity with all risk assessments
· Assist with health and safety inspections and associated actions
· Participate in emergency drills as require by Titan or our Customers
· Report all health and safety issues to the line manager or QHSE department
· Report all environment and service quality issues to the line manager

· To be available on a 24hr on call basis but within a fixed schedule.

In any small organisation, the team members must be flexible and willing to undertake a wide range of activities during the course of daily business, including some which may not normally be part of the job for example, delivering tools in person. It is therefore a requirement that the individual filling this position has an aptitude to learn new skills, to think for him/herself and be able to work in an environment where fixed routines may not be established.
